I’m so surprised at how “normal” the Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall collection is. For starters, HUGE fan of the wide leg pants. You can design just about anything, but throw in a wide leg pant, and you get my immediate approval. And that dress!
We’re all used to the extravagant, almost impossible to wear designs; typically attributed with AMcQ. And while with a doubt most would agree that each season offers us nothing less than a work of art, it’s hard to believe most looks stand a chance in the commercial market.
As much as the fashion world looks forward to an Alexander McQueen runway show, for “putting on a SHOW” it’s refreshing to see something a bit more toned down for once.
What do you all think?
